First Met

Monique and Wilson met at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY. Monique was working at Build-A-Bear and Wilson was working at Brookstone.

First Date

Their first date was a cozy dinner at a diner, followed by dessert at Martha's Bakery. While it almost didn't happen due to a miscommunication, they spent the whole evening talking till the early morning hours.

March 9, 2018

Our First Trip

Monique and Wilson took their first trip together to Wallenpaupack, PA. They weren’t alone—fearless deer made regular appearances outside the cabin. It was there they discovered their shared love for horseback riding, crisp mountain air, and a warm fireplace.

August 1, 2018

First International Trip

They took their first international trip together to Freeport, Bahamas. Monique soaked up the sun while Wilson discovered two things: he still couldn’t swim, but he could drive on the left side of the road. Together, they caught fish, and Wilson even grilled their catch for dinner.

Got Engaged

On a magical winter evening, Wilson proposed on College Walk at Columbia University, surrounded by twinkling lights and holiday cheer. Monique said yes, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their love story.
